A rare item for 23 gold?

Afar from that i suggest:
"Reduces attack damage but increases spell damage."

Yea it's autobalanced so it's not my fault. I think it's because of : "-20% damage + 20% damage = 0% extra damage"
And then it's 23 gold for the 0.5% damage per level.

And when the script calculates the goldcost to 23, i think it should be a common item ;)

The script thinks not. And i also dont think, its that strong, cause u lose 20% attack damage, which is dealt more often then spell damage...

You will give this item to a spell damage only tower (like Lightning Generator)
So its just +20% spell damage. -attack damage only makes the item bad for non spell damage builds (which would fail anyway...)

This item goes straight to the cube.
Someone suggested it is good for Lightning Generator.
Lightning Generator needs attack speed to proc it's spells.

So what is this item good for then? (Besides some rare situation.)

Beats me and I've been playing since beta.

Do you realize that you pay only 15% AS for 40% (52.5% @ lvl25) bonus spelldamage? :| That's an increase in overall spelldps anyway.

If you need AS for any secondary effect proc (like Roots) - then ok, don't use it, but for Lightning Generator and other pure spell carries there's no better earlygame item than Ceremonial Skull.

Yep it's a really strong item for fast attacking towers like witch or priest or pretty much every spell caster that doesn't rely on attackspeed.
