Fixed the ability-explanation. Changed the "2 exp" in the explanationt to the "1 exp" (which is actually given to the other towers).

I like this idea. Distinguished from most existing exp items by the trigger, being only usable by the carry.


Gold cost:
Made me realize that an experience transferring item's worth is in the rate at which it can transfer experience, but I think the gold cost could be a bit lower, like 800 - 1000. Transferring an average maximum of 50 experience per wave is not incredibly fast, also requires the carry to use the item while killing.


Tooltip:
We have a standardized wording for gained/lost experience that is not affected by exp-ratios: flat experience. Here's my quick attempt at rewording the tooltip to be more concise; feel free to object if it reads to you as somehow misleading (or is ugly):

> If the carrier is at least level 5, transfers 1 flat experience from the carrier to up to 5 random towers in 500 range on kill.

'Flat experience' implies the fact that exp-ratios don't affect anything.
'Transfer' then implies that the carrier loses the given experience (Magic Link uses the word, so there's precedence too).


Code:
if tower.getLevel() > 5 then
Is true if the tower is above 5 (that is, at least level 6).

You should trim away unneeded lines of code. For example, you do:
set explose = count
tower.removeExpFlat(explose)
When that's the only use of explose, so you could just
call tower.removeExpFlat(count)

Also expgain is a constant, so you could replace its uses with the value instead of setting it to the value earlier.
Balance constants in HowTo is kind of related, but not important in this case, since there are only two places to change the numbers.

I will shorten the tooltip and code.
Since i lowered the exptransfer to "only" 1exp, it seems reasonable to lower goldcost a bit, though i wouldnt go below 1k.

Also remove the declarations of the local variables for explose & expgain (although I'm pretty sure they'd get removed when optimizing the map - it's still cleaner for the website). Don't abbreviate 'level' to 'lvl' in tooltip, would be fine in a mathematical formula though. Seems ok to me otherwise.

All towers would still get 1 flatexp. The caster loses 1 flatexp per tower affected.

If it really is that mistakable (I suppose it always is with YouTD and tooltips), then the word 'each' could be added there, like:
"the carrier transfers 1 flat experience to each of up to 5 random towers in 500 range."
Then a couple worse uses, but whatever.
"the carrier transfers 1 flat experience to up to 5 random towers in 500 range each. "
"the carrier transfers 1 flat experience to up to 5 random towers each in 500 range."

Mh, i doubt its needed to change it, since its already pretty logical + you will see the " +1,0exp " signs every time the item applies its effect.
Anyway, if you guys think it should be changed, np, i can do it easily. Just dont wanna get this version-number incredibly high for stuff like this. :D
So if thats all what has to be fixed now, i will do it ofcourse, else i would like to wait till there may are other things, so i can change them at once. :)

Don't worry much with it. It's just about my english im sure. If when we see the item in action we can see the proper numbers popping up, the tooltip won't really matter.
