This is the discussion thread for the item Damage Morpher (86)

Creator's comments for this item:

Item idea from this thread, most of the code copied and modified from Natac's Light Tank tower.

When this item is destroyed it displays this text "Double free of type: ListElement
Double free of type: StandardEventListElement
Double free of type: StandardEventListElement
Double free of type: DoubleList", anyone know why and how to fix it?

I think the sif bonus is overpowered.

Think it would be better at 175% normal instead? or 150% like the others?

Doesnt seem to work at all when I test the item in a map.
Am I doing something wrong maybe?

I test it by throwing the download through the GMSI then testing it.
Neither the drop = destroy item, nor the morph (I assume this is a clickable ability) is working.

But maybe I should test it in a different way?

Did you save the map before testing it?

Probably forgot, got it working now, sorry!

Its hard to say if the morph ability is overpowered, since the test map wont let me pick armor types of creeps.
I like the concept thats for sure :)

You can change the armor types yourself in the object editor.

The item has been updated to version v2!

Creator's reason for this update:

Changed icons, names and tooltips, lowered sif bonus a bit.

I would mention the cooldown of the ability in the tooltip.

And can't you make one dummy ability to change the attacktype and mention which is the current one?
Because there can be to much dummy abilities on a tower.

Not sure how I would do this and still allow the user to choose which attack type. Unless you mean that I should only have the ability that chooses the damage bonus, and display the chosen bonus as a text message or something similar?
