And here it is, the MOST LIKED STARTING TOWER of total youtd: Trash Heap!
like in 1 of my game: 7 players and only 1 did not placed a heap :lol:

Great damage, strong bonus item finding and even a bonus against bosses for only 0.93 abil factor.
I suggest to weaken the bonus item find a bit and/or reduce the abil factor

In my opinion his ability factor should be more reduced in later family members thanks to more increasing item chance.

I think Heap is too strong right now. If you want to carry with any common tower, the right choice will always be: Heap (not counting Frost Fire, which is spell). The item find is so good that I even keep it when I have many other uncommons or even rare attack carries in my stash, simply because there is not even a need to switch due to its high damage. Compare it with Obelisk of Fortuity, you would always choose Heap, even when you get a lucky Dagger of Bane drop early on and play Naga or Arch Sorceress. You could argue that Obelisk has a little niche because of its upgrade levels for wave 8 + 24, but then again... Heap also has a boss bonus and it doesn't miss (since you don't have slows at early challenges). And then there is Abandoned Pit which does exactly the same thing... just with gold and no boss bonus and has a damage type that you have anyway (Acid Sprayer). It's simply the tower to use for any item quality builder, Feeble Fender, Spirit Warden, Maverick... and simply very strong for any builder really. It even doubles down on the boss bonus for some of them.

I think having a slow-attacking high range good common tower is okay, but buffed with all this item find it's way too good and it simply feels bad to switch away from it when you can't fill the additional inventory slots from rares / uniques with more itemfind. I don't even look at Burrow or Militia, which are even half-decent uncommons, since there is Heap. Miner is only so marginally better, you just stick with Heap. It's too much and kills the enjoyment of the element because there is only one right answer for which tower you should build.

Since the tower is called "Trash Heap", how about you add Dumpster effect to it? -10% item quality (-0.25% per level), scaling up to -10% item quality (-0.5% per level) on the last family member. Still a go-to tower for many item-based builders and strong for all the others while actually improving the "trash" theme at the same time. The Dumpster-effect would give it an actual niche for those games where you want to stack up on near-uncraftable low level items for whatever reason, too.
