This tower is worse in every way inferior to Igloo, which is available sooner, cost less, slows for additional duration after out of range, does additional aoe damage, AND stuns.
I propose giving this tower something unique aside from the generic aoe slow that Igloo already has.

In addition to the slow aura, how about giving this tower an additional skill?

Suggestion 1:
Absolute Zero:
Icy Core will freeze for 0.5 secs each creep that has stayed within its slow aura for 3 secs (5 secs for boss, 4 secs for champion, and 2 secs for mass). Freeze duration is halved for bosses and champions, and is doubled for mass units. While creeps are within range of its slow aura, they will suffer [aura range - (distance from icy core)] x 0.25 spell damage every sec. Frozen creeps will take an additional instance of this damage based upon their size (2x for normal, 3x for mass, 1.5x for champion, 1x for boss).

The theme is that larger creeps are more resistant to cold (more volume vs surface area, and damage is calculated as a function of distance from the 'core'.

This tower is better than Igloo IMO.
1) The upgraded version has a better slow => 1100 range and 40% slow vs. 900 range and 40% slow (level 25 towers)
2) The slow is there as long as the creeps are in the area. Igloo only slows for 4 sec!

True, but if you build igloo so the creeps pass through twice, you get 8 secs of slow and the stun twice!

i dont think this needs any changes, it doesent suck, its a pretty straight forward tower with a huge radius and it provides good slow, no need to make every tower complicated

ice core got 2 big advantages:
-affect immun creep
-greater slow on mechanical waves

but u are right for early game igloo is better -
-goes twice
-got stun + spell dmg
-is cheaper and has 3 members

You can even hit three times if you place it right, that's what I always do.

Anyway, the one who doesn't build both is a fool.

How in the world you get it to stun 3 times? I guess if you build it in inner edge of the upper arm of the 180 so that the radius is broken (barely) by the corner, but the last stun will be out of the range of any of your tower so pretty much useless. But I totally agree: build both ftw!

I usually prefer the green spot, but you can use both with two Igloos, for 6 hits !

I prefer to build it at yellow so when the last stun hits, it would still be in range of some of my towers. I guess it would work if you can keep the creeps slow enough that it takes over 4 seconds to get to and from each point. Otherwise the stun at end of buff duration wont proc but the damage will?

What ? The last hit from the green spot happens sooner than with the yellow one... Are you sure you know how Igloo works ?

By the way with both, creeps are always in range of towers when stunned.
