Tested some more:

  • Some of the items dissapeared from my towers.
  • My item got 5 recharges
  • Sometimes the item loses 2 or 3 charges

I think the charges are bugged like hell :-)

Use the userInt instead as tolleder does is with his cheese.

A little more details, please? Things that I noticed when testing the item, which could be bugs:
-The item does not autocast. But how should it with AUTOCAST_autocastType set to AC_TYPE_NOAC_IMMEDIATE?
-Sometimes it loses 2 charges the first time it buffs the tower. I have solved this by adding a TriggerSleepAction and another setCharges in the autocast trigger.
-Sometimes the cooldown does not trigger. I am not sure how to solve this in the code, but swapping slots solves the problem and in the game the worker will always get the item first and then tower.

(I could not observe any of the things you wrote 3 posts ago except for the last one.)

The item has no autocast, the idea is that you activate it yourself by clicking on it.

Those bugs i mentioned were achieved when using the item on multiple towers at once.

I have tried using the item on multiple towers at once, too, but never a item disappeared. Could you post a step by step guide how to reproduce the bug?
But I think I know what's up with the multiple regeneration: The item loses 2 charges at the first cast (userInt is 9). Then the player uses it two more times (userInt is 7). It regenerates 3 charges, userInt is set to 10 and charges, too. (I think it is random if Wc3 subtracts charges before or after your trigger fires).
But do you really want the player having to use this item 3 times a wave? Have a look how many pro players miss an invis wave...

I tested it again and the items didn't disappear anymore.

The bugs i found:

2 charges used the first time after the item was created or the first time after it recharged
cooldown not working on first item created but working on 2nd, 3rd,... item created

If you think an autocast is better, i'll change it.

I really think autocast is better. If you (as player) really want to save charges, you can disable it, too. (Also saving is not that powerful as it looks, because a 800 range tower can only use a maximum of 5 charges per round)

Creator's reason for this update:

Changed the stuff tolleder suggested. 1 problem now, if you click the item you get the target circle instead of immediatly casting the ability. I think this can't be changed if the autocast is a buff.

AC_TYPE_OFFENSIVE_IMMEDIATE???
(You have to set AUTOCAST_autoRange > 0 for it to work)
