Description
The essence of Jah ' rakal.

Abilities
Fervor
Each subsequent attack on the same target increases the carrier ' s attackspeed by 2% up to a maximum of 100%. Whenever the carrier acquires a new target, the bonus is reduced by 50%. The bonus is bound to the item.

-1% bonus reduction

Creator's comments for this item:

An unique item which can be used by every kind of tower. I don't know whether it's balanced (need help with balancing) but I did some tests:
-On a level 25 tower with 1800 range and 2.00 sec BAT it goes up to 36% attackspeed
-On a level 25 tower with 800 range and 0.50 sec BAT it goes up to 70% attackspeed
Note that those towers were perfectly placed

my vote is get rid of the time limit, but give it a attack speed cap maybe 100%(just like troll lol) and change it to [current attack speed*2]% Attack speed increase per attack

A cap on attackspeed is definitively needed, but the time limit should be adjusted to, say, 10s, so that players that rush next waves can reap the benefit.

Yes, support. mOck's 100% would be good.

Also, just for a tidbit of extra flavour, what do you think about instead of resetting the values onPickup, you add the bonus attackspeed to the tower? --> item bound bonus: you get a fast attacker to charge it up, then have the option of quickly passing it to your carry tower if need be? Prolly just extra complications, but could potentially open up the rewards for peeps that are good with their item management. If doing this, could also consider 'pausing' the duration if the item is removed from a tower (setting item.UserInt2 = gameTime on item pickup).

The item has been updated to version v2!

Creator's reason for this update:

Added a maximum of 100%.
Increased duration from 5 -> 10 seconds.
The duration is paused when the item is dropped.
The bonus is bound to the item now and is not lost when given to other towers.
Added comments for unexperienced tower/item creators.

Is the goldcost ok?

the bonus is lost 10 seconds after the last attack and is bound to the item.

sighhh, sorry.. tooltip too long now lol :/
plus, since you're not using periodics/sleeps, the tower still displays the wrong bonus after the duration has elapsed. You'll need to check the gameTime in the onDetails trigger too. However after testing, i feel that this item wouldn't be overly OP if you removed the duration altogether (as mOck had initially suggested).

Didn't think of removing the bonus in the tower details and I didn't want to to use sleeps/periodic because it's too performance heavy.

absolutely overrated item... it is similar to dark matter trident but 9 times more expensive :|

actually it fits best towers with high range + low BAT which are a few... I personally use it in my Ice spires and try to transmit it ASAP
interesting how did u calculate this high IAS and which are these towers cuz I can't remember :?

IMO Fervor bonus sld be at least 5% if u keep price and mechanism

In the item test map there are a few towers which can be used to test items. So there is no calculation involved. If other people agree, I will up the bonus a bit.

I did some calculations assuming that:
-most towers range is average 850-900
-most towers BAT is average 1.3-1.5
-normal wave where tower attacks ~6 targets
-average subsequent attack at same target is ~3 times (15 for bosses)

here are the values:

for 2% bonus average IAS is ~17% (~30% for bosses)
for 3% bonus average IAS is ~24% (~43% for bosses)
for 4% bonus average IAS is ~32% (~60% for bosses)
for 5% bonus average IAS is ~42% (~77% for bosses)

If we compare this item with the common Electrified Horseshoe (1047 gold and gives +20% AS) I think the fair value for Fervor bonus is 4% with a maximum of 50%. That way the bonus is not so low for mass and normal waves and is limited not to be so OP vs bosses.

PS. Tomy u can also check in test map what would be the bonuses with such tower characteristics.
