The skilltrees of the elements. Towers that are placed above each other are the upgrade of the one below. The numbers on the right of the towers are the number of skillpoints you need to build that certain tower.

Fire:

The hot element comes with everything you know about fire: pain and destruction! It deals very good damage against every type of creep. However, it just knows destruction, it has no really special abilities that could aid your combat.

Advantages:
  • Extreme high splash damage
  • Area burn damage
  • Also good individual damage
Disadvantages:
  • No special abilities, just damage
Aura:
Damage Add Aura


The Techtree of Fire:

Water:


The wet element uses cold to slow down your enemies and deals a bit splash damage. However, it is not to good against single creeps like bosses, but always a great support element with its area slow.

Advantages:
  • Many towers with a bit splash damage
  • Area chill towers
Disadvantages:
  • Bad individual damage

Armor Reduction Aura

Magic:


The pure essence of magic is in each tower of this element. Magic towers can reduce their enemy's armor and have great individual damage. As a tradeoff, they lack splash damage. Mass levels are a pain if you pick magic as your first element.

Advantages:
  • Best individual damage
  • Armor reduction
Disadvantages:
  • No splash, will loose against mass creeps
  • Not too good in the beginning
Aura:
Wisdom Aura(increases expgain of nearby towers)

Nature:


Nature towers use poison to slow down and damage your enemies. You will be able to build towers that send birds, which fly from enemy to enemy damaging them all! A nice element to start with.

Advantages:
  • Poison Slow
  • Bounce Attack
Disadvantages:
  • Average on everything
Aura:
Attack Speed Aura

Earth:


Earth towers launch rocks at enemies that deal area damage and have a chance to stun them. Earth is not too good against air, but great against ground. Its low range makes it an element for advanced players. You need very good planning and tower placement to balance its lack of range, but if used right this element can become superior to all others.

Advantages:
  • Very good splash damage
  • High damage against ground
  • Stun
Disadvantages:
  • Extreme bad against air
  • Low range
Aura:
Prosperity Aura (increases bounty gained by nearby towers)

Storm:


Storm uses the power of lightning to strike your enemies. Using bouncing electricity this element is able to hit many units with one attack. Air enemies that fly through your storm will be easy targets, but ground enemies are harder to beat with this element. It has the best range of all elements enabling totally new strategies that only work with its long ranged towers.

Advantages:
  • Multi & Bounce attack
  • Very good against air and mass
  • High range
Disadvantages:
  • Bad against ground
Aura:
Slow Aura (reduces movement speed of nearby creeps)
