I see that YouTD with time becomes less for players and more for designers.
Balancing/improving/recoding of existing towers is boring and does not bring this much fame and effect as creating an another unique tower with 4 abilities.
The problem is that 99% of games are random upgrade games. The more towers exist, the lesser chance to receive particular one which you are waiting for. In case of items you can at least transform them in cube. And there is not much to want, actually. The List of cool playable towers is relatively short.
Some of towers exist only to serve as a monument of vanity of its creator.
And still we increase amount of such towers, thus reducing relative amount of desirable towers.

I think that administration of YouTD should exhibit more responsibility for where do they direct the project. And not to forget that the game is made to make people playing it happy and not just to please every programmer’s ambitions.
I've read description of Arcane Storm 5 times and I still don’t understand what exactly does it do with the creeps and how should I manage it.
Let's imagine some ordinary gamer, not a native English speaker, not a PhD of Math, receives this tower.
He moves mouse pointer on the icon, stares for some time at these letters and numbers.

He thinks "Jesus Christ, Ashbringer. Why?".

I think the complication is due to the lack of line breaks.

Thanks to the broad and deep Chinese, I use about 100 characters to describe each ability (sigh).
However it seems not SO long as English...

The tower ' s main attacks have a 1% chance per Attraction stack on the target to send a surge of energy that deals 200% of attack damage to the target and then attempts to jump from enemy to enemy within 750 range of the original target. At each enemy, the chance to jump is calculated based on the next target ' s Attraction stacks. Can only hit each target once and benefits from Mana Storm ' s damage bonus.

攻击时,目标身上每有一层奥术吸引效果,就有 1%几率发动能量涌动,对目标造成200%攻击伤害。
此后,涌动会试图向 750 范围内的其他敌人弹射,他们身上的每层奥术吸引效果有 1%几率导致被涌动击中。
每个目标最多只会被击中一次,伤害受 法力风暴 效果加成。

I agree. I've voiced my opinion on this somewhere too, but I don't want to be ruling the map with an iron fist with things like this.
Go and comment on the towers that you consider too complex and if others get behind you, we can be revoke them.
