The Hive Mind

Story :
The Hive Mind used to be an ancient Nerubian Queen. It's hive has been a superior one in the ancient Nerubian Wars. Fount by the Expedition led by the Human alliance to reach the frozen Continent Northrend the Queen got caught. She has been shipped back to Lordaeron cause her hive had some superior regeneration and group coordination techniques, which should be used against the plage in the Eastern Kingdom. Geneticaly mutated in the depts of Gnomeregan the Hive Mind became a stronger and stronger and finaly managed to flee. Nobody knows why and where it came from but it appeared and decited to lead the fight against the incoming forces of evil.

Buildermodel:
Because the Hive mind used to be a nerubian queen the model should be something nerubioan. (Nobody would have expected this, did you? maybe the model of weaver would be a niceone)

Clasification:
The Hive Mind should be an advanced builder because it features tower massing which should be no option for Beginners.

Specials:
-Each tower will provide 2% damage to towers further away than 500 units
-Each tower will provide 2% attackspeed to towers further away than 500 units
-Mana regeneration of towers will be increased by 25%
-Towers deal 15% less Damage
-Towers have 15% decreased attackspeed
-Is able to mark a unit which will be attacked by every tower in range
(The Bonusdamage and Damage-mauls also affect spelldamage)

Model
Blue-style whirling Cyclone.

Classification
Advanced, because it uses benifits which needs some exp in game.

Specials
pluses:
+15% dmg to all Ice towers
+15% spell dmg to all cold towers
+5% spell crit chanse to all cold spells
adds extra freeze and cold duration (+20%) to all cold effects.

minuses:
-25% att speed to all non-Ice towers
Cant build Fire and Nature towers at all

@Cehhby: Don't know if this builder idea is good. With this builder all ice tower are much better with no disadvantage. Only non-ice towers get one. If this builder idea will be implemented you could also implement such a builder for every element. I don't like this idea which is a specialisation on one element.

I dont think it is possible to reach high levels using only one element, even with better towers, becouse all damage types are almost the same. So the player will met the disadvantages too.

As for the "same bulder for each element", well, it is not nesessary at all, may be dual builders like storm-nature( Wild natare forces), fire-darkness( krush kill and destroy type), astral-irion( like hight-tech techno-magic %) ).Their abilities are quite different and, I think, are easy to predict, and they'll cover the field of "specialized builders". Moreover there can be a single unique builder for this element (why not? :) ).

Bunuses and disadvanages can be changed, of couse, to balance it...
i simply like the idea of element-specialization) it a pity if you dont :(

well you are able to reach higher levels only using nature towers you have quite to be a bit lucky to get some chasms to handle the high armor levels and its not easy going that way. fire towers are as well able to reach higher levels (roughly 86 think this was the highest i got with it ) so having a focused builder on this races would make the game quite trivial.

Name:The greedy Goblin

Style: One goblin from the Goblin explosion squad, i like the one with the barrel. Hope this is possible,
since i'm totally useless at creating stuff.

Abilities:
Pros: +7% Bounty Ratio (+0,2 per tower lvl), +1% interest
Cons: -10% against Nature and -10% spelldamage

Story: The greedy Goblin lived in a small village, trying to get
as much gold as possible. But soon he knew that he's meant for
more and joined the Battle to access incredible treasures.

We can talk about the Values because i think they are a bit too strong.
-10% against nature because they have not so much pockets to steal off :) think this fits,
and since the goblin believes in greed, he shouldnt so much come along with casting.
So -10% spell damage.

Should be no beginner but advanced tower.

Classification: anything, expect beginner


style: the goblin hero thingy that rides on an ogre?


Pros:
-every tower gives a poison debuf or chance to debuf, that does damage
over time and slow, maybe different poisons per element so they stack
- bonus xp if the poison kills a target

cons:
-since he relies on his poisons and has to study them he has to neglect
his physikal training --> less standart damage from towers
-nothing expect his poisons interest him, less xp for non-poison-kills


story:
He was trained in the art of poisening by the privat assasin of the queen, after
being found in a village that he completly wiped out. The villagers accused his
parents of poisening the local bakers well, since he died mysteriously 2 weeks
after they came to that little village and startet a not to good running bakery.
After that incident the boy fled to the woods and experimented with the local
poisoneous flora and fauna, and after 6 month snuck his first perfected poison
into their well with incredible results.
He finished his apprenticeship with the royal assasin earlier than expectet after
finding out, that the bakers were poisoned by his master, because the queen
had a liason with the husband on one trip through her kingdom....... and now
he is freelancing.



Ok the values have to be put in, like how strong the slow is and how much
damage the poison does. Super-long-range-tower like the graves have to have
a weaker version of the poison so maybe input a range-factor (the father the
target the harder it is to poison...)

Hmm... What about a berserker?

Model: Rexxar or maybe a chaos orc?

Classification: I dunno but not begginer

Pros: Higher attackspeed for all towers
Higher critical rate for Iron towers

Cons: Leaked units steal 2x as much life.

Story: The berserker was once a farmer who had his farm burnt down by bandits. He survived and was found by a group of soldiers who was tracking down the bandits. He joined them and slaughtered the bandits and thus consumed by rage he went to war!

The attackspeed and higher critical rate needs to have a value. Why critical for iron only is because he is an berserker, and thus swingin his mighty sword of iron with rage he can deal alot of dmg.

Istn the one beginner Hero already Rexxar? The crit guy....

I personally don't like the idea of race boni. Seems weird to buff only Irons crit cause he uses a Iron sword. maybe it has a wooden Grip so it buffs nature too, or was smithed in a fire so buffs fire too and after fire it was cooled with snow so it buffs ice too...

Classification:
Expert, only for those who are crazy enought to rely only on luck %)

Model:
Human pesant with some kind of darkend eyes )

Pros:
1) Tower Luck (get better towers)
- 3% more chanse to get unique tower
- 5% more chanse to get rare tower
- 7% more chanse to get uncommon tower
2) Gold Luck (get more gold)
- 3% chanse to get extra 20% gold for kill
- 5% chanse to get extra 10% gold at the end of a round
3) Damage Luck (get some dmg)
- 2% chanse for +20% damage on hit
- 5% chanse for extra 20% damage on crit
- 1% extra chanse for crit
4) Exp Luck
- 5% chanse to get extra 50% exp on kill

Cons:
BlackDays (shit happens)
- 0.2% chanse that random tower will be destroyed at the beginning of the level
- 0.2% chanse to downgrade random tower at the beginning of each level
- 0.2% chanse to lost random item from storage at the beginning of each level
- 0.2% chanse to lost 25% of total money at the beginning of each level

These chanses(pros and cons too) increase with builder level (~doubles at max level)

I think a builder with increased bounty is nice, but we'll need to keep it balanced.

Maybe à builder that increases trigger chances?

Or à mage that provides extra mana and mana regen?
